Delete your account

This page is for the Lastnyt app on the App Store and Google Play, made by FSM Developments Ltd in Auckland, New Zealand. You can delete your account in the app, or ask us to do it.

In the app

1. Open Lastnyt and sign in.
2. Tap Profile, at the top right of the home screen.
3. Tap Delete account, and confirm.

Without the app

Email support@lastnyt.com from the email address you signed in with, and ask us to delete your account. If you signed in with Apple or Google, write from that account’s email. Can’t write from that address (Apple’s Hide My Email, say)? Tell us which address you signed in with, and we’ll check it’s you before we delete anything.

What gets deleted

• Your account: your name, email address, profile photo and sign-in.
• Every Night you host, for everyone in it: its photos, videos, map, timeline and reels.
• Everything you added to other people’s Nights: photos, videos, captions and reactions. A reel that shows any of it is made again without it.
• Reels you made yourself, and the tokens we use to send you notifications.
• The files themselves: originals, thumbnails, reels and profile photos.

What we keep

• Purchase records, with your account taken off them: what was bought, the store’s transaction id and the Night it unlocked. That way a Night Pass you bought keeps working for that Night and everyone in it. Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases.
• Analytics events and crash reports, which carry a random account id and never your name or email. Once your account is gone, nothing links them to you.

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel Lastnyt Plus. Cancel it first in your Apple or Google subscriptions.

How long it takes

In the app, your account and everything in it go straight away, and the files are gone from storage within a day. If you ask by email, we’ll do it within 30 days (usually within a couple of working days) and reply when it’s done. Copies in our database backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Joined from a link in a browser?

Guests who join in a browser don’t have an account. You can hide your photos on the Night’s page, or email us the invite link and the name you joined with, and we’ll delete your photos and contact details.
