Lastnyt

Terms

Draft for legal review. Last updated 11 October 2026.

These terms are the deal between you and us, FSM Developments Ltd (the company in Auckland, New Zealand, that makes Lastnyt), when you use the Lastnyt app or this website. By using Lastnyt, you agree to them. Our privacy policy says how we handle your information.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over. Everyone confirms it before they join or host a Night.

Your account

Your content

The photos, videos, captions and everything else you add stay yours. Only add things you took or have the right to share, of people who are happy to be in them.

You give us permission to store, copy, resize, crop, edit and show what you add, and to combine it with what others add, so we can run Lastnyt: make the Night’s map, timeline and reels, show them to the people in the Night, and to anyone a recap is shared with. This permission is worldwide and free of charge, and it ends when your content is deleted. Copies people have already saved or shared aren’t ours to take back.

Acceptable use: zero tolerance

We don’t accept objectionable content or abusive users, at all. Don’t add, caption or share anything that:

Don’t try to get into accounts or Nights you weren’t invited to, or disrupt, overload or copy Lastnyt. Content that breaks these rules comes down, and the accounts behind it can be banned without warning.

If you got Lastnyt from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside these terms.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Lastnyt running, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, and features can change. If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.

Our liability

We provide Lastnyt as it is. As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect losses, or for what other people add, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under New Zealand consumer law, such as the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

New Zealand law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts deal with disputes.
